Job summary

Gilbane Building Company seeks a Project Manager I to support Senior PMs on a live construction site, directing day-to-day activities and guiding a small project team. This role emphasizes leadership, safety, and timely delivery across project milestones.

You will partner with engineers and subcontractors, manage project documentation, and contribute to cost controls while ensuring quality and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
• 4–7 years of construction management experience.
• Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Assists in direction and management of on-site construction activities.
• Supports project controls, cost tracking, and risk mitigation.
• Contributes to the development and execution of the project schedule.
• Coordinates with subcontractors and vendors to ensure buyout compliance.
• Supports safety program and quality control plans.
• Trains and mentors junior team members as needed.
