Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or Construction Management
• 10–15 years of experience
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience

Responsibilities

• Assumes overall accountability for jobsite safety
• Assumes overall accountability for meeting contract requirements
• Verifies project financial forecast, notice provisions, and billings to meet contract requirements; escalates deviations
• Ensures team creates a project-specific quality plan aligned with owner contract documents
• Ensures a team creates a closeout plan in alignment with contract documents
• Provides leadership in motivating the project team(s) and maintains a positive work environment
• Directs and supervises project administration, project superintendents, and engineers to establish priorities
• Assumes overall accountability of subcontracting strategy and buyout process at project level
• Negotiates contracts and leads risk mitigation efforts
• Ensures project compliance with insurance and bonds
• Coordinates preconstruction services and approves deliverables to Owner and design team
• Leads the team with effective communication to meet project schedule
• Develops understanding of local market areas to lead networking strategy
• Partners with business development to align with sales strategies and profitability targets
• Responsible for career development and coaching of team members
• Fosters a positive and inclusive work environment
• Interprets organizational strategy to ensure team alignment
