Job summary

Moss, a national construction firm with offices across the United States, seeks a Project Manager to lead on-site administration with Owners, Design Partners, and Trade Contractors. You will ensure project scope, quality, schedule and budget compliance, while coordinating procurement, changes, and site activities.

The role requires strong communication, leadership, and project-finance skills, plus experience with wood multifamily construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or related discipline or 5 years’ experience.
• 4+ years’ experience as a Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager in Wood Multifamily construction projects.
• Strong computer skills including construction project management applications.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to interface with trade contractors, owners' representatives, design team, and authorities.

Responsibilities

• Manages a specific project area or multiple trade scopes on a large project with project team.
• Participates in preconstruction sessions, reviews owner criteria, coordinates with design team and owner.
• Identifies key subcontractors and long-lead items.
• Creates bid packages and reviews schedule information.
• Develops and maintains financial reports and processes monthly requisitions.
• Manages change orders, loss-control, and ensures bonding and insurance policies.
• Stud ies contract documents, develops scopes of work, and reviews budgets.
• Leads scheduling meetings and oversees detailed project schedules.
• Manages document control and reporting, and supports crisis management planning.
• Oversees field operations, coordinates subs and inspections, and ensures safety programs.
• Promotes good relations with subs and the design team and aligns with client needs.
• Supports project closeout, warranties, and final payments.
