Job summary

RQ Construction LLC seeks a Project Engineer for our Camp Lejeune, NC site to support all phases of a commercial construction project on an active military base.

You will administer, organize, plan, schedule, coordinate, and monitor activities with a focus on safety, quality, and schedule adherence. Local candidates will be prioritized; relocation/travel to on-site work may be required.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Internet) required.
• Specific software literacy (Primavera 3/6, Viewpoint, BIM, Revit) preferred.
• CPR, First Aid, and OSHA 30-hour Certifications required (Training can be provided).
• LEED GA credential desirable.
• QCM certificate desirable.
• Prior commercial construction experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for all project activities and phases from development to final completion.
• Administer, organize, plan, schedule, coordinate, and monitor project processes.
• On large projects, certain project management responsibilities may be delegated according to experience and skills.
• Local, coastal Carolina candidates will be given priority; relocation or travel to on-site work may be required.
