Job summary

Overwatch Construction Management is seeking a Project Engineer to support on-site construction activities in Chattanooga, TN. The role starts 1/1/2027 and involves technical and administrative support to the construction manager on multiple projects.

Responsibilities include document control (RFIs, submittals, change orders, ASIs), file organization, and assisting with change order management and project closeout.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in construction management, owner's representative services, project engineering, or construction administration.
• Experience supporting large capital construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction practices, techniques, and materials.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical and administrative support to the construction manager.
• Responsible for project document control, i.e. RFIs, submittals, change orders, ASIs, etc.
• Organize and maintain project files.
• Assist CM with change order management and prepare change orders for processing.
• Manage the closeout and turn over process.
• Assist CM to prepare project files for audit at project completion.
• Site conditions verification and support as needed.
