Job summary

JARBO in the Kansas City area seeks a detail-oriented Construction Project Coordinator to support administration for a full-service asphalt paving contractor. You will manage documentation, coordinate with subcontractors, and ensure compliance with project quality standards on a full-time, on-site basis.

This role offers collaboration with estimators, liaison with clients and field teams, and regular progress reporting with a focus on timely project closeout and problem-solving for ongoing site

Qualifications

• Prior experience as project coordinator or project administrator preferred; entry-level with relevant skills encouraged.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with project management software is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with clients, subcontractors, and field teams.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Estimators to set up and maintain accurate project documentation including submittals, wage orders, and change orders.
• Serve as a liaison between clients, subcontractors, and internal project teams to resolve issues and communicate project status.
• Generate regular progress reports and updates for internal and external stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
• Assist in the preparation of project closeout documentation to ensure timely and compliant project completion.
• Identify project-related challenges and coordinate with the project team to develop and implement timely solutions.
