Job summary

Chapter New Jersey is offering a 6-month, full-time, on-site Construction Project Management Internship aimed at hands-on exposure to residential renovation projects. You will work with seasoned professionals across construction, design, and operations and have a clear path to an Assistant Project Manager role, then to a Project Manager position for the right candidate.

Location is New Jersey with daily site travel; must be local and have a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing (or recently completed) undergraduate or graduate degree in Construction Management/Engineering/Architecture or related field.
Strong interest in construction and renovation projects.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Familiarity with AutoCAD and Revit is a plus.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Team-oriented and reliable.

Responsibilities

Assist in managing renovation projects from start to completion.
Support proposal preparation, drawings coordination, material takeoffs, and cost estimates.
Conduct daily site visits across multiple projects.
Support client communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Assist with file management, submittals, RFIs, and change orders.
Help with procurement and tracking of samples.
Track vendors and pricing.
Participate in daily and weekly project management meetings.
