Job summary

Dorsett Controls is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead automation and controls installations in Utah. The role focuses on on-site leadership, coordinating technicians, subcontractors, and client project managers to deliver projects on time and on budget.

You will oversee safety procedures, review drawings and specs, manage schedules, and produce progress reports while driving quality and client satisfaction. This position is on-site in Layton, UT.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field required or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years in a construction supervisory role.
• Minimum 2 years HVAC temperature controls/building automation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily construction sites and ensure progress as planned.
• Coordinate subcontractors, workers, and vendors.
• Lead site meetings and communicate updates and issues.
• Process RFIs, submittals, and construction docs to support execution.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and codes.
• Maintain records of progress, hours, materials, and safety incidents.
