Job summary

Control Solutions Group, Inc. is seeking a Building Management Systems (BMS) Technician IV to lead installation, commissioning, and maintenance of complex BAS/BMS projects across Utah.

You will diagnose advanced issues, mentor subcontractors, and drive on-site execution with a hands-on, safety-conscious approach. The role demands 4–7 years in HVAC controls, expertise with DDC and WebCTRL, and strong communication, documentation, and project coordination skills to meet tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4-7 years field experience in the HVAC controls industry including DDC Systems commissioning, software integration operation, calibration, and experience with pneumatic controls.
• Knowledge of Automated Logic WebCTRL software tools and field circuit debugging skills preferred.
• Understanding of the construction industry with emphasis in mechanical/electrical fields.
• Able to read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, WebCTRL and various operating systems.
• Proven track record of completing jobs on schedule, being self-motivated and achieving full customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• On-Site Strategic Project Leadership: Directly execute complex automation installation projects on-site across Utah with a hands-on approach.
• On-Site Subcontractor Management and Technical Oversight: Provide expert on-site direction to subcontractors and track progress to meet milestones.
• Technical Expertise and System Optimization: Perform point-to-point check-out, commissioning, diagnostics, and maintenance on BAS/BMS systems; edit WebCTRL programs and graphics.
• Project Documentation and Team Development: Maintain commissioning reports, logs, drawings, and status updates; mentor junior technicians.
• On-Site Relationship Management and Professional Conduct: Build relationships with clients and internal teams; manage deadlines and protect confidentiality.
