Job summary

Clark Construction Group in Renton, WA seeks an experienced Construction Manager to serve as the on-site operations leader for heavy civil projects. You will oversee planning, safety, scheduling, cost control, and subcontractor coordination to deliver complex projects on time and within budget.

The role requires leadership, strong communication, and the ability to drive a culture of safety across multiple teams and stakeholders on active job sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 15 years of progressive on $30M to $250M+ complex, self-perform, heavy-civil construction projects.
• Experience as the lead supervisor responsible for all construction activities on large civil projects with multiple superintendents.
• Experience managing a projects 3-week and 90-day schedule.
• Experience managing labor productivity and involvement in project cost reporting.
• Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety compliance and lead safety culture on site.
• Coordinate planning, scheduling, and resource allocation for the project.
• Manage cost, schedule, and relationships with subcontractors and self-perform teams.
• Mentor project staff and ensure teamwork across disciplines.
• Communicate with agencies, subcontractors, and vendors; monitor budgets and progress.
