Job summary

Planate Management Group is seeking an experienced Construction Management Representative to provide on-site construction management in Anniston, Alabama. You will oversee meetings, progress documentation, cost estimation, and scheduling analysis, while ensuring safety and compliance with contract documents.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in CM or engineering, 3+ years of construction experience, OSHA 30, and strong MS Office/PM software skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or engineering.
• Minimum of three years of professional construction management experience.
• Ability to read and apply contracts, plans, drawings and specifications.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Training completed.
• Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.
• Experience evaluating costs and contractor proposals.

Responsibilities

• Arrange and document weekly progress meetings with Government and Contractor.
• Attend safety meetings and document notes within one business day.
• Observe construction progress, quality, and conformance with contract docs; produce daily reports.
• Take photographs for daily logs with legends and notes.
• Monitor compliance with Accident Prevention Plans and safety requirements.
• Review baseline and progress schedules; complete DSC checklist.
• Review payrolls for Department of Labor compliance.
• Review payment requests and supporting documentation.
• Process submittals and RFIs and assist in resolution.
• Assist with contract changes, disputes, and closeout requirements.
