Job summary

Planate Management Group is seeking a Construction Management Representative to provide full-time, on-site management for the Denver Service Center rehabilitation project in Anniston, Alabama. The role involves construction oversight, documentation, cost and schedule analysis, and contract administration to ensure compliance with plans and safety standards.

Responsibilities include conducting meetings, tracking progress, managing submittals/RFIs, payroll review, and closeout documentation,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or any engineering discipline.
• Minimum of three years of professional construction experience involving construction management, project monitoring, contract administration, inspection, or related construction activities.
• Read, interpret, and apply construction contracts, plans, drawings, and specifications.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Training completed.
• Working knowledge of construction practices, applicable building codes, and safety regulations, including conducting inspections and reviewing mock-ups.

Responsibilities

• Arrange, attend, facilitate, and document weekly progress meetings between Government and Contractor.
• Attend contractor-led safety meetings and record notes within one business day.
• Observe and document construction progress, quality, and conformance with contract documents; complete daily reports.
• Take photos for daily logs with legends and notes.
• Monitor compliance with Accident Prevention Plans and safety requirements; document safety issues.
• Review baseline and progress schedules and prepare DSC schedule review checklists.
• Review payrolls and payroll logs for Department of Labor compliance.
• Review monthly subcontractor payment requests and related documentation.
• Receive, log, review, and track submittals and RFIs; assist in resolution.
• Review CQC Daily Reports, O&M manuals, warranties, and closeout requirements; facilitate inspections and contract changes.
