Job summary

MEB General Contractors is seeking an experienced Superintendent to coordinate and manage on-site activities across the Mid-Atlantic region. You will be the face of the company on project sites, driving on-time, on-budget delivery with the highest quality and safety standards.

You will collaborate with Project Superintendents, Project Managers, Project Engineers, Foremen and field personnel to meet project goals while upholding MEB’s core values and safety culture.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating on-site construction activities across projects.
• Knowledge of safety, quality guidelines and local permits.
• Ability to lead and manage project teams.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers, subcontractors to determine project needs.
• Set performance goals and deadlines.
• Estimate costs and ensure the project is on budget.
• Supervise staff and provide feedback.
• Monitor and report on project progress.
• Plan inspections and obtain construction permits from local authorities.
• Implement safety and quality guidelines.
• Order equipment and arrange maintenance.
• Keep track of material stock and orders.
• Ensure job site safety and cleanliness.
• Resolve on-site issues and emergencies.
• Ensure safe production on site for all personnel and stakeholders.
