Job summary

MEC General Contractors in the United States seeks a seasoned Superintendent to oversee commercial construction projects from start to finish. You will manage schedules, budgets, safety, and quality across sites, collaborating with clients, PMs, and subcontractors to keep projects on time and on budget.

The ideal candidate brings 3+ years of commercial superintendent experience, travel willingness, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and proficiency with MS Office and construction management

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial superintendent experience.
• Must be able to travel as required.
• Experience leading teams on project work, progress, and resource allocation.
• Strong knowledge of commercial blueprints and schedule plans.
• Able to adapt to changing circumstances and solve problems.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Proficient with MS Office and construction management systems.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certified.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a daily log of job site operations and report to management.
• Modify operations to meet construction deadlines.
• Review and drive project schedules during site visits.
• Collaborate with clients, PMs, and subcontractors to determine budget and timeline.
• Lead in addressing challenges to bring projects in on schedule and under budget.
• Ensure safety and quality on all project sites.
• Perform related duties as required.
