Gilbane Building Company is seeking a General Superintendent in Charleston, SC to independently manage all field operations on projects up to $100M. The role involves directing project budgets, leading contractor meetings, and implementing safety standards. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management and have 10-15 years of experience in commercial/industrial construction projects. Qualifications

• 10-15 years of experience on $30-$100 million commercial/industrial construction projects.
• Ability to enforce the project safety plan and create a safety-first culture.
• Experience supervising a project team.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day coordination of trade contractors.
• Manage the project budget for general conditions and site services.
• Develop and communicate the work plan regarding changes made in the field.
• Act as primary safety representative in the field.
• Lead contractor meetings on a regular basis.

Education
