Job summary

Gilbane is seeking a Senior Project Manager to serve as the on-site Gilbane manager, responsible for the overall direction, completion, and financial outcome of large or complex construction projects. The role sits primarily on the job site with occasional office travel for trainings and meetings.

You will lead a high-performing team, manage safety plans, control costs, and ensure delivery on time and within contract requirements across multiple projects or a large complex project portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management required.
• 8–12 years of construction project management experience.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities required.

Responsibilities

• Develops the project safety plan with corporate safety and provides jobsite leadership.
• Develops the project controls and procedures to manage complex project requirements; mitigates high-risk items for contract requirements.
• Manages project financial forecast, notices, and billings to meet contract requirements; addresses deviations in project vitals.
• Creates and manages a project-specific quality plan aligned with contract documents and assists with execution.
• Creates and manages a closeout plan in alignment with the contract documents and assists with execution.
• Leads the project team, supervising work, administration, and engineers to establish priorities.
