Job summary

ATI Group is seeking a motivated Construction Superintendent to oversee on-site operations for projects in Ankeny, the Des Moines metro, and across Iowa. The ideal candidate will coordinate subcontractors, ensure safety, and keep projects on schedule and within budget.

Candidates should have a strong background in commercial/industrial construction, familiarity with local codes, and OSHA 10/30 or First Aid/CPR preferred. ATI offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma; a degree in Construction Management preferred.
• Self-starter with strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience supervising construction sites, especially commercial/industrial.
• OSHA 10/30 cert preferred; First Aid/CPR preferred; ATI can provide training.

Responsibilities

• Project Oversight: Manage daily on-site activities, schedules, and safety protocols.
• Team Coordination: Lead subcontractors, vendors, and on-site personnel to maintain workflow.
• Quality Assurance: Inspect work to ensure it meets local codes and quality standards.
• Scheduling: Develop and maintain project schedules and adjust for changes.
• Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols per OSHA and local regulations.
• Communication: Act as main liaison between on-site teams and project management.
• Documentation: Keep records of daily activities, materials, and delays.
