Job summary

Clune Construction is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to be located on the project site. You will support the project superintendent with access, scheduling, deliveries, logistics, safety, and quality from preconstruction through closeout.

The role emphasizes coordination with field teams, trade partners, and owner vendors, while upholding Clune’s safety culture and OSHA standards. A Bachelor’s degree and 2–5 years of relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CM/Architecture/Engineering or equivalent industry experience.
• 2–5 years of experience managing commercial interior, healthcare and/or mission-critical projects.
• Solid background in construction trades and technical knowledge.
• Proficient with scheduling software.
• Strong communication, time management and team-first attitude.
• Ability to read drawings and specs.

Responsibilities

• Model professionally for interns and junior staff.
• Resolve on-site challenges quickly with minimal cost impact.
• Lead safety culture and enforce OSHA standards.
• Participate in preconstruction scheduling, logistics and planning.
• Maintain project schedules and produce daily/weekly reports.
• Coordinate with field team, PMs, trades and owner vendors.
• Maintain a complete set of field documents.
• Assist in closeout: punchlists, commissioning and training.
• Utilize Clune systems and technology to work efficiently.
