Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Construction Manager to lead major building and infrastructure projects in Queenstown, Eastern Cape. The role requires 10+ years in construction project management, with strong leadership, planning and execution capabilities.

You will oversee budgets, schedules, safety and quality while managing diverse teams and client relationships. Relocation to Queenstown is expected for this senior position with excellent compensation and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive construction PM experience, with at least 5 years in a management capacity.
• Proven track record delivering large-scale construction projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of construction project management from inception to completion.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules and budgets with adherence throughout execution.
• Lead, manage and motivate project teams including site engineers, foremen, subcontractors and labour.
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations, quality control standards and environmental policies on all sites.
• Manage client relationships, stakeholder communication and contractual agreements.
• Procure and manage resources including materials, equipment and personnel.
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Monitor progress, conduct site inspections and resolve issues or conflicts.

About the Role

• Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
• Must be based in or willing to relocate to **Queenstown, Eastern Cape**.
• Professional registration (e.g., Pr.Eng, Pr.CM) is highly preferred.
