Job summary

Ironmark Building Co. is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to join the Greater Phoenix area team, with on-site responsibilities and oversight alongside the project Superintendent. The role emphasizes safety, scheduling, cost control, and coordination across trades for commercial projects.

The ideal candidate will have a Construction Management degree, be OSHA 30 preferred, and able to read blueprints. Strong communication and independent work ethic are essential for success in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management preferred.
• Ability to work on-site at project location in Tucson area.
• Knowledge of building codes, OSHA rules; OSHA 30 preferred.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in day-to-day management of commercial construction project operations.
• Apply cost containment, quality control, and risk management measures.
• Create a safe work environment compliant with safety regulations.
• Ensure adherence to schedule; coordinate expediting sub contractors.
• Supervise on-site activities with project Superintendent.
• Develop schedules and coordinate trades.
• Maintain daily paperwork and documentation timely.
• Communicate effectively with staff, contractors, vendors, and stakeholders.
