Job summary

Ironmark Building Co. is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to join our team and help manage commercial construction projects in the Greater Phoenix area.

The role works closely with the Project Superintendent to drive safety, quality, and on-time delivery on site in Tucson. You will coordinate trades, monitor costs, and ensure compliance with regulations while maintaining clear communication with staff, contractors, and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management preferred.
• On-site work at project location in Tucson area.
• Knowledge of building codes and OSHA regulations; OSHA 30 preferred.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints.
• Strong communication with diverse teams.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and mobile devices.

Responsibilities

• Assist in day-to-day management of commercial construction project operations and teams.
• Apply cost containment, quality control, and risk management to ensure timely completion.
• Maintain safe work environment in compliance with OSHA and company program.
• Ensure adherence to schedule; expedite subs and suppliers as needed.
• Supervise on-site activities with the project Superintendent.
• Develop schedules and coordinate trades.
• Maintain daily work documentation and other required paperwork.
• Communicate effectively with staff, contractors, vendors, and stakeholders.
