Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Site Superintendent in the United States to oversee on-site construction activities, ensuring safety, quality and timely delivery in line with project specifications. Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of on-site supervision experience in construction or industrial projects.
• Solid knowledge of construction methods, drawings and safety regulations.
• Strong leadership, communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily on-site supervision of all construction activities and subcontractor operations.
• Ensure work is executed according to approved drawings, RAMS and project specifications.
• Conduct daily site briefings and coordinate work sequencing with trades.
• Monitor site productivity, safety compliance and quality workmanship.
• Coordinate with Site H&S Coordinator to enforce safety protocols and close out observations.
• Maintain on-site records including permits to work, inspections, deliveries and progress logs.
• Identify and escalate risks, delays or deviations impacting cost, quality or schedule.
• Support the Site and Program Manager in managing site interfaces, logistics and client interactions.
• Verify installed works for compliance and support punch-list creation and close-out.
• Coordinate change-related impacts with Project Controls and Estimating/QS teams.
• Resolve and maintain punch/snag lists.
