Job summary

Ramboll is seeking a Construction Inspector for the Water US, Construction Management Division to support municipal water construction projects in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast. The role involves on-site inspection, clerical support, and collaboration with senior staff on project delivery.

The ideal candidate has basic computer skills, teamwork, and a willingness to develop in a professional environment with a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of construction project information including plans, specs, permits, tests and submittals.
• Desire to grow construction knowledge through training.
• Basic IT skills including MS Office and project management software.
• Ability to work effectively in teams.

Responsibilities

• Inspecting that projects are built according to plans and specs.
• Identify unforeseen conditions and notify senior staff.
• Maintain field notes, daily reports, and schedule progress.
• Gather field information to aid project design.
• Supervise less experienced staff.
