Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; MoDOT Technician Certification or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform field-related tasks.
• Familiarity with construction principles and civil engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret plans, details, specifications, and other contract documents; report deviations.
• Provide accurate daily inspection reports with photo documentation.
• Perform field materials sampling and testing (concrete slump/air, compressive specimens, compaction, moisture, gradation).
• Review and approve contractor payments and change orders, including quantities.
• Check layout and dimensions using tools and instruments.

Skills
