Job summary

Waterproof Properties II LLC in Plainfield, NJ is seeking an experienced Construction Accounting & Project Administrator to join our commercial roofing and siding team. You will handle construction accounting tasks, including AR, AP, AIA billing, job costing and prevailing wage compliance, supporting project teams from start to finish.

Proficiency with Excel and project software is needed to keep schedules, invoices and payroll compliant.

Qualifications

• Construction accounting experience required.
• A/R and A/P experience essential.
• Experience preparing AIA payment applications preferred.
• Knowledge of job costing and retainage helpful.
• Prevailing wage/certified payroll experience a plus.
• Strong Excel and organizational skills required.

Responsibilities

• Manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
• Prepare AIA G702/G703 payment applications
• Maintain Schedules of Values and track retainage
• Enter and process vendor/subcontractor invoices
• Follow up on outstanding customer payments
• Track change orders and project billing
• Assist with certified payroll and prevailing wage compliance
• Maintain project and accounting records
