Job summary

Coronado Concrete in Las Vegas is seeking a Construction Estimator to prepare detailed estimates for concrete projects, review plans, perform quantity take-offs, and develop cost projections. Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Construction Estimating skills, including the ability to interpret plans, specifications, and scopes of work for concrete projects.
• Candidates should possess experience with Quantity Take-offs and accurate measurement of materials, labor, and equipment needs.
• Candidates should possess Cost Management and Budgeting skills to develop, track, and update project costs and financial forecasts.
• Candidates should possess clear and professional Communication skills for working with project teams, vendors, and clients.
• Proficiency with estimating software and MS Excel or similar tools.
• Knowledge of concrete construction methods, materials, and local building codes; experience in commercial or multi-family construction is beneficial.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines simultaneously.
• Relevant experience in construction estimating or a related role; an associate or bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Review plans and specifications and perform quantity take-offs to develop accurate cost projections.
• Coordinate with project managers and field supervisors throughout the bid process.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes; update budgets as needed.
• Prepare bid documents and participate in pre-construction meetings.
• Communicate timelines, cost assumptions, and scope clarifications to internal teams and clients.
