Job summary

CoronadoConcrete in Las Vegas is seeking an experienced Concrete Estimator to join our Las Vegas team. The role involves reading plans, developing accurate takeoffs and cost estimates, and managing bids from start to finish.

Responsibilities include reviewing documents, preparing labor/material/equipment estimates, and coordinating with contractors and suppliers. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Qualifications

• Experience with reading civil, structural and architectural plans.
• Strong quantity takeoff and cost-estimating skills.
• Comfortable using digital plans, takeoff software and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Review plans, specifications and bid documents.
• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for concrete and related site work.
• Prepare labor, material, equipment and subcontractor cost estimates.
• Develop competitive bid pricing and complete proposals.
• Identify scope gaps and constructability issues.
• Solicit and review vendor and subcontractor pricing as needed.
• Review addenda and revise estimates accordingly.
• Maintain organized estimating files and bid documentation.
• Communicate with general contractors and homebuilders.
• Assist with handoff of awarded projects from estimating to operations.
• Track bid results and maintain pricing based on market conditions.
