Job summary

KOR Building Group LLC is seeking a Construction Estimator – Lead Commercial and Government Project Bidding in Las Vegas. You will drive pre-construction budgets, proposals, and bid strategy for commercial, hospitality, retail, medical, and government projects, reporting to senior leadership.

This is an in-person, full-time role with strong growth potential. You will coordinate with architects, clients, and subcontractors, manage RFIs, analyze cost data, and integrate schedules with the PM team

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of professional commercial construction estimating experience.
• Estimating for midsize specialty commercial buildings, hospitality, or government projects.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, schedules and technical specs.
• Minimum 3 years using Microsoft Excel for complex cost modeling.
• Strong English writing for reports and executive summaries.
• Knowledge of state contracting laws (NRS, NAC) and OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Formulate project budgets and proposals from plans and client instructions.
• Coordinate with architects, clients, and subcontractors to resolve RFIs.
• Evaluate subcontractor proposals for accuracy and profitability.
• Lead bid-estimating tracking and present to win high-value contracts.
• Identify and bid opportunities from data bases to keep pipeline full.
• Maintain a robust database of preferred subcontractors and suppliers.
• Analyze final costs versus estimates to update cost history libraries.
• Collaborate with PMs to negotiate contracts and transition bid to build.
