Job summary

ACLAMO is seeking a Community Resource and Advocate Specialist to manage the Safe Haven Food Pantry and Donation Closet in Norristown. You will oversee intake, inventory, and distribution, while coordinating with donors and partners to ensure dignified service for clients.

You will work with health navigators and staff to address community needs, promote resource access, and ensure health/safety compliance. Strong advocacy and bilingual communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience, or associate degree with 8 years in health/public health.
• Fluency in Spanish and English required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee intake, organization, and distribution of food, clothing, and essentials.
• Maintain inventory records and track donations.
• Coordinate with donors and partners for regular restocking.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
• Support clients with compassionate and professional assistance.
• Oversee pantry operations and supervise staff and volunteers.
• Screen and enroll participants for services and connect to needed resources.
• Engage with community partners and organize outreach events.
• Represent ACLAMO in public education advocacy activities.
