Job summary

Fairfield Residential in Woodland Hills, CA is seeking a Community Manager to lead a property with up to 299 units. You will supervise a high-performing team, manage budgets, drive occupancy, and ensure strong customer service for residents.

Qualifications include 3+ years in multifamily property management, a real estate license (where required), proficiency with Yardi and Microsoft Office, and a track record of sustaining NOI and occupancy. Flexibility for weekends/evenings is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Real Estate license required in specific markets, otherwise preferred.
• Industry certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license may be required.
• 3+ years of hands-on property management experience.
• Multifamily property experience required.
• A successful track record as a supervisor is preferred.
• Strong understanding of financial statements (budget, financial reports, P&L, GL).
• Experience in writing and maintaining budgets.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Strong knowledge of Yardi or other property management software.
• Strong understanding of federal, state, and local fair housing laws and provisions.
• A track record of maintaining occupancy and NOI in multifamily properties.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule (weekends, evenings, holidays).

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop teams: recruit, coach, and motivate a high-performing team.
• Drive financial performance: manage budgets and financial reporting; oversee collections when needed.
• Ensure operational excellence: maintain occupancy and rental rates; conduct inspections; coordinate move-ins.
• Elevate marketing and customer service: execute marketing programs; maintain online presence; address resident concerns.
