Job summary

Journey Bank, a Muncy Columbia Financial Company, seeks a Full-Time Community Banking Associate to join our Millville Community Office in Bloomsburg, PA. You will assist members with deposits, payments and bank products while delivering friendly service.

You will work on-site, supporting daily paying and receiving functions, with opportunities to grow in a community-focused role and participate in our comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; specialized banking education or training.
• Previous banking or other customer service experience preferred.
• Moderate reading, writing and grammar skills, as well as analytical and math skills.
• Proficient communicative and interpersonal skills, must be professional and courteous.
• Proficient eye-hand coordination.
• Ability to operate various office machines.
• Ability to lift approximately 50lbs.
• Must have a valid driver's license with reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Greet and serve customers in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Accept deposits, cash checks and process utility bill payments.
• Sell treasurer checks, money orders, and other bank products.
• Accept loan payments, safe deposit box rent and other related payments.
• Process night deposits and mail deposits.
• Maintain awareness of new business opportunities with customers, actively refers customers to appropriate customer service personnel.
• Cooperates with, participates in, and supports adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements.
