Job summary

Hondros College of Nursing in West Chester, OH is seeking a Clinical Coordinator to serve as the primary liaison for clinical sites and to establish and secure necessary sites to support the nursing programs. This on-site role involves regular site visits, collaboration with faculty, and ongoing communication with nursing leadership.

The position requires a Master’s in Nursing, an active Ohio RN license, and a minimum of three years of nursing practice experience with BCLS certification.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in nursing required.
• Three years of RN practice experience required; teaching in a professional nursing program preferred.
• Active Ohio RN license and Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Develops effective business relationships and facilitates clear communication with clinical leadership.
• Secures clinical sites to assure full implementation of the clinical component of the nursing programs.
• Collaborates with course faculty to coordinate and arrange for the preceptorship experience.
• Meets regularly with Director/Assistant Director of Nursing and Campus Director to forecast clinical site needs in the market.
• Completes assessments of potential sites through site visits, census assessments, and course evaluations; documents findings and makes recommendations.
• Coordinates Career Fairs at the College and clinical site; recruits faculty to grow the College’s roster of potential faculty.
