Job summary

Hondros College of Nursing in West Chester, OH seeks a Clinical Coordinator to serve as the liaison for all clinical sites and to establish and secure site partnerships essential for the nursing program's clinical component. This role is fully on-site.

The incumbent will work with faculty and leadership to arrange preceptorships, forecast site needs, and ensure credentialing requirements are met for student placements and clinical experiences.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Nursing required.
• Three years of nursing practice as an RN required; teaching experience preferred.
• Active RN licensure in Ohio in good standing is required.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification (BCLS) required by American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Develops effective business relationships with clinical leadership and coordinates communication with clinical sites.
• Secures clinical sites to fully implement the clinical component of nursing programs.
• Collaborates with faculty to arrange preceptorship experiences for students.
• Forecasts site needs and maintains regular meetings with nursing leadership to ensure site adequacy.
• Performs quarterly site visits and evaluates clinical sites against curricular outcomes.
• Represents the college at clinical sites and promotes partnerships.
• Manages credentialing prerequisites for student placements and faculty involvement.

Education

Master’s Degree in Nursing

Active RN licensure in Ohio

Three years RN practice
