Job summary

Rosendin is hiring a Civil & Mechanical On-Site Superintendent to lead field activities for substations, BESS, or large solar projects. You will supervise civil and mechanical crews, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure safety, quality, and schedule alignment.

Travel to project sites across the region is expected. Ideal candidates bring 2+ years of supervisory experience in utility-scale or renewable energy construction, strong drawing interpretation skills, and a proven ability to manage

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of supervisory experience in civil construction, renewable energy, substation, or infrastructure projects.
• Experience leading subcontracted or self‑perform field crews on multi‑million‑dollar projects.
• Ability to interpret civil/structural drawings, grading plans, geotechnical reports, and specifications.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and process discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site civil and mechanical construction activities including earthwork, foundations, routing of utilities, and racking.
• Coordinate civil & mechanical subcontractors to meet schedule and budget.
• Oversee safety programs, site plans, SWPPP compliance, and environmental controls.
• Maintain daily logs, progress tracking, and field documentation.
• Pre-construction participation: review drawings, constructability, and sequencing.
• Lead field meetings and train field leadership to Rosendin standards.
