Qualifications

• Experience operating industrial diesel generators.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor CAT diesel generator units during scheduled operating hours.
• Perform routine walkdowns and visual inspections of equipment.
• Monitor operating parameters, alarms, temperatures, pressures, fluids, and generator performance.
• Complete daily operating logs, shift reports, and equipment status documentation.
• Perform basic preventive checks and minor troubleshooting within qualifications.
• Identify abnormal conditions and escalate issues promptly.
• Assist with generator startup/shutdown and operational checks as directed.
• Coordinate with on-site electrical professionals on electrical safety.
