Job summary

Morgan & Morgan, P.A. is seeking a Case Manager to join our Detroit team. The role requires strong organization and the ability to handle a varied caseload while assisting attorneys with settlements and document preparation.

The ideal candidate is customer focused, empathetic, and capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment. On-site work with a comprehensive benefits package is offered to full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive interaction with clients, insurance companies and medical providers.
• Experience in legal or insurance settings preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and data management.
• Typing speed of at least 35 wpm.

Responsibilities

• Daily interaction with clients, via telephone and in person.
• Order medical records from providers and communicate with clients and providers.
• Obtain documents to support injury/liability positions.
• Interact with carriers and providers to secure records and balances.
• Negotiate settlements with insurance carriers and medical balances.
• Work with colleagues to manage case files from intake to closing.
• Maintain organized case files and prepare comprehensive demands.
