Job summary

Morgan & Morgan, P.A. is seeking a High Value Case Manager in Detroit. This salaried role supports attorneys by developing settlements, preparing documents, and managing communications with clients, insurers, and medical providers.

The ideal candidate is organized, customer-focused, and able to handle a varied caseload with minimal supervision. The position is on-site five days a week with a strong bonus plan and a comprehensive benefits package including medical/dental insurance, 401(k), paid

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• At least 2 years of legal or insurance adjuster experience.
• Ability to multitask, organize, prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of motions, discovery, evidence, and court procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive daily interaction with clients, insurance companies, and medical providers by phone and in person.
• Order medical records and communicate with providers during treatment.
• Gather documents to support injury or liability positions.
• Interact with insurance carriers and healthcare providers to secure records and balances.
• Negotiate case settlements with insurers.
• Negotiate deductions of outstanding medical balances with providers.
• Collaborate with coworkers to manage case files and maintain organization.
• Prepare comprehensive demands and submit to carriers; present case summaries to attorneys.
• Role is on-site five days a week; perform related duties as needed.
