Job summary

Ferrara is seeking a General Labor employee in Forest Park, IL to contribute to production by performing hands-on tasks including packing, loading, and quality checks. The role is on-site and requires overtime as needed to meet production goals.

You'll follow GMPs, maintain a clean, safe work environment, and support various production needs while ensuring high-quality finished goods and timely palletizing.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to GMPs and safety procedures.
• Assemble cartons and packaging materials.
• Consistently load candy into production and packaging equipment.
• Follow safety standards and Ferrara procedures.
• Perform routine visual quality checks for product quality and consistency.
• Notify machine operator of equipment jams.
• Inspect materials, products, and containers throughout the packaging process.
• Pack specialty product assortments and promotional configurations.
• Package finished goods to ensure quality presentation and appearance.
• Verify and execute designated pallet patterns.
