Job summary

Warrior Precast is seeking a skilled Draftsman to join our on-site team in Kentucky. The candidate will produce accurate production and installation drawings for precast concrete products, merging CAD drafting with design engineering support to ensure manufacturability and install readiness.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, trade/technical school or equivalent in construction/design.
• Proficiency in CAD drafting and design tools.
• Strong math and measurement skills.
• Experience with coordinating with production/field teams.
• Knowledge of construction, masonry or carpentry basics.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed production and installation drawings for precast concrete products.
• Develop precast designs per project specs and industry standards.
• Create loading sheets and installation plans for field crews.
• Collaborate with production, sales, consulting engineers, and field teams.
• Review designs for feasibility and manufacturability.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards.
• Document design processes and changes thoroughly.
