Job summary

Warrior Precast LLC in Tennessee is seeking a skilled Draftsman to produce accurate production and installation drawings for precast concrete products, merging CAD drafting with design engineering support to ensure projects are technically sound, manufacturable, and installation-ready.

You will collaborate with production, sales, consulting engineering firms, and field teams to optimize designs, perform feasibility studies, prepare take‑offs for cost control, and ensure compliance with safety

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or related field.
• Precast concrete industry experience preferred.
• 1 year CAD drafting or design engineering experience.
• Proficiency in CAD software and spreadsheets.
• Strong math and measurement skills.
• Knowledge of construction, masonry, or carpentry.

Responsibilities

• Create production and installation drawings for precast products.
• Develop designs according to project specs and industry standards.
• Prepare production take-off drawings for cost accounting.
• Produce installation plans for the set crew.
• Collaborate with production, sales and field teams.
• Ensure designs are feasible and manufacturable.
• Maintain design documentation.
