Position Overview

As the Precast Production Technician, you will be responsible for producing high-quality precast concrete products safely and efficiently. To be successful, you will need to be detail-oriented and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain precast concrete production equipment, including molds to ensure efficient production processes.
• Set up and prepare molds for casting, ensuring they are clean, free of defects, and adequately treated for easy release.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies to maintain a safe working environment; participate in safety training and meetings as required.
• Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment and work areas to ensure operational efficiency and safety.
• Work closely with team members and supervisors to meet production schedules and resolve any issues that arise during the manufacturing process.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, safety standards, and company policies.

The ideal candidate should possess:

• Technical certification in manufacturing or construction.
• Military experience may be accepted in place of secondary education or civilian certifications.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in precast concrete production or a related field.

Physical Demands:

• Comfortable working in a factory environment, which may include exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work for extended periods of time, up to 12 hours a day.
• Ability to stand and walk for up to 12 hours/day, including over varied and uneven terrain.
• Frequently and repetitively, lift, push and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Frequently and repetitively, bend, lift and reach.
• Stoop, lay, bend, reach, squat, kneel, crouch, twist and crawl for extended periods of time, including up to 12 hours/day.
• Climb and maintain balance on ladders, or other high structures.
• Wearing Personal Protective Equipment, including but not limited to: safety glasses, safety shoes, bump cap and adhering to prescribed safety rules and guidelines
