United Concrete Products, Inc. in Wallingford, CT is seeking a skilled Drafter to join our team.

You will produce precise shop and erection drawings for precast concrete products using AutoCAD and coordinate with engineers, PMs, and production staff to ensure on-time, code-compliant delivery of precast elements. The role requires proficiency in AutoCAD 2D, experience with drawing interpretation across architectural, structural, and civil plans, and the ability to work closely with project teams.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of AutoCAD drafting experience; precast or structural concrete experience preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D; experience with Revit or Tekla a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and civil drawings.
• Associate's degree or certificate in drafting, engineering technology, or related field preferred.
• Experience producing shop drawings for precast components such as culverts, arches, 3-sided bridges, prestress, and reinforcement detailing.
• Experience with structural contract documents, including DOT-style infrastructure plans.
• Knowledge of PCI-related precast standards.
• Experience coordinating with engineers and project managers.
• Eligible to work in the United States.

Responsible for producing accurate shop drawings, erection drawings, and detail sheets for precast concrete products using AutoCAD. Works closely with engineers, project managers, and production staff to support on-time, code-compliant delivery of precast elements.
