Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage time in a dynamic environment.
• Attention to detail in documenting damage, costs, and liability.
• Familiarity with cable/utility locating industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site assessments of underground and aerial cable plant damages.
• Conduct interviews at damage sites with contractors, technicians, witnesses, and others.
• Photograph and document the damaged scene to accurately portray and determine liability.
• Collaborate with the client’s locate company and exchange relevant damage information.
• Analyze and review evidence related to third-party damages to identify liable party.
• Apply state Dig Laws and NESC standards during investigations.
• Develop relationships with clients, contractors, and personnel.
• Assist the Claims Recovery team with follow-up actions after site reviews.
• Develop and maintain monthly market reporting and lead client meetings.
