Job summary

Project Resources Group (PRG) is seeking a Cable & Telecom Damage Specialist for the Birmingham, AL area. In this hands-on role, you will collect, analyze, and review evidence related to third-party utility damages to determine liability, working independently to deliver precise, professional results.

The position requires a valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, strong written and verbal communication, and familiarity with state dig laws and NESC standards.

Qualifications

• Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with state Dig Laws and NESC standards preferred.
• Experience with documenting damages and cost recovery is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site assessments of damages to cable plant.
• Interview contractors, technicians, witnesses, and others at damage sites.
• Photograph and document the damaged scene to support liability findings.
• Collaborate with client’s locate company and exchange damage information.
• Analyze evidence to determine liable party for third-party damages.
• Develop monthly market reporting and lead client meetings.
