Vallen is seeking an On-site Buyer to join our team in Wisconsin. You will procure products and materials, ensuring price, quality, timing, and reliable supply meet company standards.

You will work at a customer location, providing exceptional service and leveraging our purchasing strategies to optimize inventory and delivery. The role involves reviewing forecasts and replenishment recommendations, expediting orders as needed, and coordinating purchase requisitions with vendors to support

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement and inventory management is a plus.
• Familiarity with ERP and ERP-like systems for forecasting and replenishment.

Responsibilities

• Perform procurement activities to meet current and anticipated demand for products and materials.
• Review and approve inventory forecasts produced by ERP/enterprise systems.
• Review and approve daily replenishment recommendations.
• Assess existing orders to determine actions for expediting or de-expediting for optimal delivery.
• Place purchase requisitions and manage vendor communications.
