Join our On-site Buyer team at Vallen, purchasing products and materials to meet customer demands while maintaining price, quality, timing and reliable supply. You will work at a customer location and provide exceptional service in stock and non-stock buys.

The role emphasizes collaboration with vendors, inventory forecasting, and PO management, with a strong focus on cost savings and adherence to LEAN practices. Requires at least a high school diploma and experience in procurement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• 1+ years of experience in Procurement preferred. CPM certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform procurement activities to meet customer demand and align with purchasing strategies.
• Review and approve inventory forecasts and replenishment recommendations.
• Place purchase requisitions and vendor purchase orders.
• Negotiate vendor terms and coordinate returns for aging or excess inventory.
• Follow up on purchase orders and communicate status to customers.
• Maintain supplier relationships and ensure quality, pricing, and delivery standards.
