Job summary

The Mather is looking for a skilled Maintenance Professional to join our on-site team in Tysons, VA. This full-time role focuses on preventative maintenance and repairs across mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and life-safety systems to keep our community safe and comfortable.

Responsibilities include proactive inspections, coordinating with vendors, keeping accurate service records, and responding to emergencies as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in facility/plant engineering and maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of safety codes and building standards.
• HVAC, plumbing, electrical and generator knowledge.
• Familiar with Building Management Systems (BMS) and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and life-safety systems.
• Inspect and service generators, UPS, and water management equipment.
• Maintain documentation of inspections and repairs and coordinate with vendors.
• Assist with on-call emergencies and ensure work orders are completed timely.
