Transwestern is seeking a Building Engineer to perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and on-site operations at our Baltimore property. You will inspect systems, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with contractors to keep buildings running efficiently.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, 3+ years in building maintenance, knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and building automation, and on-site availability. The position is on-site with first shift; remote work is not offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 2 years related experience or trade school training.
• Minimum of 3 years building maintenance experience.
• Knowledgeable in energy management systems and building automation.
• Proficient with HVAC, electrical and building systems.
• Ability to lift and perform on-site maintenance tasks as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and corrective repair of buildings, systems, equipment and grounds.
• Inspect building systems (fire alarms, HVAC, plumbing) to ensure proper operation.
• Complete repairs and maintenance records; troubleshoot and repair installed systems.
• Coordinate with outside contractors and lead assigned projects as needed.
