Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with at least two years of related experience or trade school training.
• At least 3 years of building maintenance experience.
• Thorough knowledge of building systems operations, maintenance and repair.
• Trade license/permit applicable to the role (e.g., HVAC, electrical) if required.
• Experience with energy management systems.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Strong customer service orientation and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and corrective repair of buildings, industrial systems, equipment, and grounds.
• Inspect building systems including fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing to ensure operation within design parameters.
• Perform assigned repairs, emergency, and preventive maintenance.
• Complete maintenance and repair records as required.
• Lead technicians and coordinate with outside contractors on projects.
• Respond quickly to emergency situations and call for additional assistance as needed.
• Maintain an energy management program to minimize operating costs.
• Maintain the building lighting system and handle repairs or replacements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
