Job summary

Transwestern is seeking a Second Shift Building Maintenance Technician in Tempe, AZ. The role requires performing plumbing, electrical and HVAC duties to keep building systems operating efficiently. On-site work with no remote option, and overtime may be required depending on priority and emergencies.

Minimum 3 years of building maintenance experience and ability to read mechanical or electrical schematics are essential. Basic computer skills and Windows software proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years building maintenance experience.
• Ability to interpret mechanical, electrical blueprints and schematics.
• Must possess basic computer skills and Windows-based software.

Responsibilities

• Perform all plumbing, electrical or HVAC requirements of the building(s).
• Maintain heaters, chillers, pumps, fan coil units, etc.
• Monitor and adjust mechanical/pneumatic equipment, control gauges and valves.
• Repair doors, ceilings, hand railings, floors.
• Perform preventive maintenance: change filters, oil motors, replace light fixtures, belts, bearings.
• Inspect engine room and cooling equipment; report issues.
• Document and report activities; ensure safety and compliance.
